Meet JLO (aka Jessica Laurel O'Neal)

 

I fell in love with food as a farmer's daughter in Blenheim, SC.   After a stint in heart research, I worked for a local caterer and began leading classes at Charleston Cooks!. A few years later, I started JLOkitchens. Since starting JLOkitchens; I have hosted Feastly dinner parties, cooked weekly for an NBA player, taught students global cuisine with Common Threads, taught Southern cuisine at CulinAerie and performed cooking demonstrations for Relay Foods.

 

While in Charleston I have taught cooking classes at Southern Season and created specialty meals as a personal chef for families in Mt. Pleasant. My husband and I recently had a little boy named Pete and we live in Mount Plesant with our cat Wheezie.
